I was going to a girls craft day of sorts with some ladies from our church and wanted to bring something tasty...and wanted to make something new. I had already bought Oreo cookies thinking I would just make Oreo cheesecake cupcakes. Instead, I jumped onto Pinterest and sought out a simple Oreo recipe.
This is what I came up with...
What you need:
Brownie Mix (that's right....Betty Crocker takes part in this recipe)
Oreos
Chocolate Chips
Pan or Dish (I used a cupcake pan for easy portioning)
What to do:
Prepare your brownie mix as directed on the box. Usually you will need an egg, vegetable oil and water.
Next, pour your batter into your pan. Be sure to grease your pan...unlike me. This way you won't have to fight your brownies out of the pan!
Squish down some Oreos in your pan, if you are using a square pan, place the Oreos in a straight line to that it is easier to cut
Sprinkle some chocolate chips around your batter, I just happened to have mini chips but, feel free to use full size!
Since I was using the cupcake pan, I had some batter left over. I just poured it over top of the Oreos for extra yuminess!
Then I bakes according to the directions on the box and voile....
Oreo filled brownies!
